Part time MOT Tester Vacancy - Flitwick Independent Garage - 30hrs/week
  • Wage: £15-18 an hour depending on experience (£25,000-£28,000)
  • Days worked: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday only 
  • Working Hours: 8:00am - 6:00pm (with some flexibility)
  • Able to work on & service your own vehicle on the ramps out of hours. 
  • Optional Overtime Available on weekends

Responsibilities of the MOT Tester:
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards
  • This is an MOT only role. 
  • Any skills as a Technician will be a benefit and willingness to help with repairs will be reflected in the money offered. 
  • Maintain accurate records of tests conducted
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Class 4 and 7 Tests only. 
Requirements of the MOT Tester:
  • Valid MOT Tester qualification for Light Vehicles. 
  • Proven experience in conducting MOT tests
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
