Our client, a large dealership group, are looking for a Workshop Controller to join their team in Barnsley. Duties of a Workshop Controller with our Client 
  • Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the workshop
  • Allocate jobs to technicians and monitor progress
  • Ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
  • Liaise with service advisors and customers, providing updates on repair progress
  • Monitor productivity and efficiency levels of the workshop
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Provide leadership, support, and guidance to workshop staff
What our client expects of a Workshop Controller
  • You could be a Workshop Controller or a Service Advisor looking to take the next step, training will be provided
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of automotive repairs
  • Proficient in using workshop management systems
  • Full UK driving license
