Reporting to the Engineering Manager, as our client's Bus/PSV Workshop Chargehand/Supervisor your key objectives will include:
- Day to day oversight of the workshop facilities ensuring work is correctly allocated and completed within the recommended time frame.
- Supervising a team of Maintenance/Service Fitters, Coach Builders, Electricians, Cleaners/Shunters, Clerks, stores personnel and contractors
- Help repair and maintain our client's fleet of over 400 modern buses and coaches to a high standard including Dennis Eagle, Volvo and Optare.
- Carrying out preventative and proactive maintenance in line with our client's policies.
- Responsibilty for our client's premises, plant and equipment.
- Adhering to Health & Safety policies.
