  • Hours: 8:30pm - 5.30pm Monday - Friday only 
  • Pay: Starting from £32,000 basic + overtime 
Are you passionate about classic cars and possess exceptional skills in prepping and painting? An exciting opportunity awaits you in the heart of leafy Horsham! Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Classic Car Prepper /  Painter to join their team of classic car enthusiasts and contribute to the restoration and enhancement of their customers timeless automotive treasures.

Key Responsibilities as a Prepper / Painter with our Classic Car Client:
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare classic cars for painting by sanding, filling, and priming surfaces to ensure a flawless foundation for the finishing process.
  • Colour Matching: Skillfully match and mix paint colours to achieve the authentic and original appearance of classic cars.
  • Spray Painting: Apply paint using various techniques, ensuring even coverage and a high-quality finish that meets or exceeds industry standards.
  • Detailing: Conduct detailed inspections to identify imperfections, rectify defects, and perform final touch-ups to achieve perfection in the finished product.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean painting equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and longevity.
Qualifications Needed Of the Paint Sprayer :
  • Proven experience as a Classic Car Prepper or Painter with a focus on vintage and classic automobiles.
  • Experienced in surface preparation, color matching, and various spray painting techniques.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high standard of workmanship.
  • Strong understanding of classic car restoration processes.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements Of the Paint Sprayer:
  • Previous experience in classic car painting and restoration.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to paint and chemical handling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying project requirements.
  • Physical fitness for extended periods of standing, bending, and lifting.
