Customer Service Advisor/Receptionist required in Weston-super-Mare.
  • Starting salary up to £26,000 per annum.
  • Working hours from 8:00am-5:15pm Monday to Friday.

Our client, a large multi-site automotive accident repair group established throughout Southwest England, are currently looking to recruit an experienced and professional Customer Service Advisor/Receptionist to join their busy centre located in Weston-super-Mare.

Reporting to the Centre Manager and working as part of a friendly team, as a Customer Service Advisor/Receptionist.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Welcoming customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Booking vehicles in for accident/cosmetic body repairs.
  • Liaising with the Centre Manager to keep track of the vehicles' progress and ensuring the vehicle is ready at the promised time.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, including establishing customers onward travel arrangements, updating customers whilst their vehicle is in the workshop, handing over vehicles after repair work and maintaining ongoing relationships with your customers.
  • Maintaining thorough product knowledge and updating your knowledge through manufacturer led training.
  • Adopting a sales approach regarding the upsell of repairs required and relevant approved products
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
To be eligible for this Service Advisor role you will need strong experience working in a similar customer service orientated role. Any previous experience working in the automotive industry or a strong understanding of the sector would be highly advantageous however is non-essential as full training is provided. Overall you will be IT literate and have strong communication and organisational skills as our client are focused on giving great customer service to both their customers and work providers.
