Vehicle Technician Required - Oldham
  • Basic Salary: Circa £35,000 (Between £13 - £16 p/h DOE)
  • OTE £45,000
  • Plus £1,500 Annual guaranteed bonus + Time saved bonus
  • 30 Days Holiday Per Year (including Bank Holidays) 
  • Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm 
  • 1 in 2 Saturday mornings 08:00am - 12:30pm
  • Overtime available

Key Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct in-depth diagnostic assessments, pinpointing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
  • Utilize cutting-edge diagnostic tools and software to accurately identify complex problems.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the service team, providing timely and efficient solutions to customer concerns.
  • Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies, attending relevant training sessions.
  • Mentor and guide junior technicians, sharing your knowledge to enhance the team's skills.
  • Maintain meticulous records of repairs, parts used, and labor time to ensure streamlined workflow and outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Uphold high standards of quality, professionalism, and customer service.
To qualify for this Vehicle Technician vacancy, you must have:
  • Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance minimum. 
  • Proven experience as a Technician in an automotive dealership.
  • Advanced knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems, including electronic and mechanical components.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical staff members/customers. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Valid driving license and a clean driving record.
