My client based in Warrington has an exciting opportunity for an experienced MET Technician to join their workshop team! The successful applicant will have the chance to work with a great team and use their expertise to help maintain and repair vehicles.

To be considered for this MET Technician Vacancy, you must have:
  • Have previously been involved with the assembly and de-assembly of vehicles.
  • Have ideally have previous experience stripping and fitting all makes and models
  • Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role-ideally you will be ATA qualified or NVQ level 3.
  • Be able to effectively communicate with colleagues.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and inspections to identify mechanical and electrical faults in damaged vehicles
  • Carry out repairs and replacements of damaged or faulty parts, including mechanical, electrical, and trim component
The Duties for this MET Technician:
  • Accessing and removing mechanical and electrical components.
  • Removing and re-installing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Following job cards and repairing to manufacturing methods.
  • Removing and fitting non-structural body panels.
  • Assessing faults.
