  • Alternating Shifts - Week 1 Mon-Fri 6:00-15:30, Week 2 Mon-Fri 13:00-22:30

Our client is a large Commercial Dealership Group looking for a LCV / HGV Technician to join their team in Hull. This role would suit current HGV Technicians or Van and Car Technicians looking to train on HGVs. Full training will be provided.

The LCV / HGV Technician we are looking for
  • Can be HGV or Light Vehicle Technician - training to work on HGVs will be provided.
  • Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ) preferred.
  • The ability to work to a high standard.
  • Significant workshop experience.
  • The ability to work well in a team.
  • An awareness of the importance of Health and Safety compliance.
  • Full UK Drivers License.
  • Own set of tools.
What will the successful LCV / HGV Technician do?
  • Inspect and repair vehicles to DVSA standards including MOT preparation and presentation to test.
  • Fault diagnosis including the use of specialist diagnostic equipment.
  • General mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Opportunity to do offsite working, including breakdown attendance.
  • Display excellent customer service and a dedication to keeping customer vehicles on the road.
The successful LCV / HGV Technician will get
  • Basic Salary of up to £39,780.
  • OTE earnings of up to £43,095.
