Automotive MET Vehicle Technician Required in the Guildford, Area 
  • Salary:£40,000 Basic + £10,000 On Target Earnings
  • Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 6.00pm plus lunch breaks - no weekends! 
  • 5 Day working week Monday - Friday only! 
We are currently working with a well established Motor Trade Dealership who have been operating in their local area for 40 fun years and counting! This client has an excellent reputation amongst their employees often describing the dealership team as "family" "positive" and "rewarding" just to name a few! 

They are seeking a MET Vehicle Technician  who wish to join and support our clients their Dealership Accident Repair Team. This is a crucial role to the success of the business, as such the rewards and benefits they offer set them apart from other Dealerships in their local area.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Experienced  MET Vehicle Technician to join a company that is committed to ensuring their staff enjoy their working day. They reward highly and put their employees at the forefront of all they do.

Within this MET Vehicle Technician role your typical duties will include: 
  • Assessing damage to a vehicle in terms of mechanical and electrical components;
  • Using diagnostic equipment to diagnose and repair electric faults;
  • Stripping and refitting parts on vehicles which have been involved in accident;
  • Fixing mechanical damage e.g. engine, suspension or steering;
  • Using a computerised machine to align wheels on a vehicle;
  • Ordering necessary parts for vehicles
  • Working from job cards which detail what work to be done on a vehicle;
  • Preparing invoices for completed work and passing this over to the accounts department.
Previous experience in a MET or Vehicle Technician role is essential. ATA accreditation is advantageous although not essential! Our client would love to hear from aspirational candidates who want to benefit from as much training and development opportunities as available. Especially candidates who want to skill up in the EV / Hybrid / High Voltage Vehicle field! Don't get left behind!
