  • Required to cover the Midlands
  • Package from £45,000 + Bonus & overtime opportunities
  • 40 Hours per week:
  • Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm 
Partnering with a national Multi-franchise Bus Dealership boasting nearly 30 years of success. Seeking an experienced PCV Field Service Engineer with 5+ years in PSV/PCV/Bus Technician roles. Crucial for preventive maintenance at customer sites, offering unmatched rewards and benefits.

Within this Bus Field Service Engineer Role some key requirements to be considered are: 
  • Live within the Midlands of the UK
  • Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical components of vehicles 
  • Ability to work under own initiative and work independently managing resources and time efficiently 
  • Work experience as a Technician within the PCV / HGV sector 
  • Full clean driving license - PSC preferable but not essential 
  • Qualified to NVQ / City & Guilds in vehicle maintenance and repair 
  • Full driving license with willingness to cover our clients market area 
Within this Bus Field Service Engineer role your day to day duties will include but not limited too: 
  • Conduct thorough examinations and diagnostic assessments to pinpoint and address mechanical and electrical problems, such as axle and driveline issues.
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections, regular maintenance checks, proactive measures, and repairs to guarantee vehicle dependability and compliance with roadworthiness standards.
  • Identify electrical faults, including troubleshooting CAN networks.
  • Skillfully diagnose malfunctions in HGV/PSV air systems.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols and company guidelines.
  • Employ diagnostic tools and stay updated on emerging technologies within the field.
  • Maintain precise documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
