Vehicle Technician- Well Renowned Main Dealer In Castleford
  • Basic Salary- Up to £30,000.00
  • OTE- £35,000.00
  • Monday-Friday 08:00-17:30, Saturdays on a rota basis 08:00-12:30 (40 hours Per Week). 
  • 34 Days Annual Leave Including Bank Holidays, Rising with service. 
  • Includes a flexible working pattern or 4 day week option! 
Our client is one of Yorkshires largest main dealer groups. They are looking to add an experienced technician to their ever-growing team. The ideal Vehicle Technician candidate will have 2 years previous experience as a technician in either a main dealer or independent garage, alongside a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician: 
  • Carry out complex jobs such as Cam Belts, Gear Boxes and Diagnostic work.
  • Repairing and servicing of vehicles including clutches, brakes and exhausts.
  • Supporting colleagues to carry out difficult tasks
  • Using computer based technology to assist the diagnostic and service technicians in diagnosing electrical/mechanical and engine issues.
  • Informing customers/manufacturers in there is any further work that is required.
  • Acting as support for technicians and apprentices in the workshop as well as providing guidance.
The Successful Vehicle Technician Will Have:
  • A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
  • Current experience as a Vehicle Technician working for a main dealer or independent garage. 
  • Your own set of tools
  • A full UK driving Licence
