  • Franchised Main Dealership
  • £40,000 Basic Salary
  • £70,000 OTE 
  • Monday to Saturday, Day off in the week
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising with service. 
Our client is a very busy main dealer franchise in Exeter. They are currently actively searching for an experienced General Sales Manager to take control of their busy sales department and take the team to the next level. The
successful General Sales Manager will have 2 years+ of previous General Sales Management experience or have experience as a high performing Sales Manager and will have a proven track record of leading and improving a sales team. 

The successful General Sales Manager will have: 
  • A proven track record of leading a sales team successfully. 
  • Experience of increasing profitability, 
  • Strong leadership and people management skills. 
  • A full UK driving license. 
  • Motor Trade experience
Duties of a General Sales Manager:
  • Coaching and managing a team to achieve and strive to exceed all monthly and annual sales targets
  • Developing a Department Profit Plan
  • Implement and manager sales & referral processes.
  • Ensure highest degree of customer satisfaction to achieve customer loyalty.
  • Working with a team of  Sales executives & a Transaction Manager to ensure all customers are aware of full product range.
  • Strive to provide industry-leading standards of customer care.
  • Encourage utilisation of latest digital tools to provide and all-encompassing sales experience.
  • Ensure the team is adhering to all FCA Guidelines.
