Within this Panel Beater role, your typical duties include:
- Perform replacement and restoration of bodywork panels affected by damage or wear.
- Execute comprehensive repairs to chassis and framework structures.
- Conduct thorough assessments of vehicle damage and apply appropriate techniques to achieve top-notch repairs.
- Perform necessary repairs to bumpers and doors as per specifications.
- Ensure all panel beating and repair tasks meet stringent quality standards set by both internal protocols and external regulations.
- Collaborate within a team to optimize efficiency and safety in body shop operations.
- Skillfully handle tasks such as panel replacement, straightening, filling, and alignment to restore vehicle integrity.
- Utilize welding, bonding, and filler techniques for seamless repairs.
- Execute dent removal and pin pulling with precision.
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces adhering to health and safety guidelines to mitigate potential hazards.
- Light MET work
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Ideally qualified
- Full Manual UK Driving Licence license
