My Client, a busy well-established main dealer body shop in Warrington is looking for a MET Technician to add to their team of highly skilled professionals. 

Located in Warrington, the ideal candidate will live within the local area or within a sensible commute.

The main duties for this MET Technician vacancy include: 
  • Accessing and removing mechanical and electrical components.
  • Removing and re-installing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Following job cards and repairing to manufacturing methods.
  • Removing and fitting non-structural body panels.
  • Assessing faults.
To be considered for this MET Technician vacancy, you must:
  • Be confident and an experienced vehicle stripper, fitter or MET technician. Having previously been involved with the assembly and de-assembly of vehicles.
  • Have ideally have previous experience stripping and fitting all makes and models 
  • Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role-ideally you will be ATA qualified or NVQ level 3.
  • Be able to effectively communicate with colleagues.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and inspections to identify mechanical and electrical faults in damaged vehicles
  • Carry out repairs and replacements of damaged or faulty parts, including mechanical, electrical, and trim component
