  • Plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings on a rota 08:30am - 12:30pm ( As overtime )

Duties of a Vehicle Preparation Technician with our Client
  • Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and guidelines
  • Carry out quality control checks to ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
  • Prepare and maintain vehicles to showroom condition, including washing, polishing, and waxing
  • Fit accessories and perform any necessary modifications or repairs to vehicles
  • Liaise with sales and service departments to ensure timely delivery of vehicles
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of all work carried out on each vehicle
  • Always adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Keep up to date with the latest technologies, training and trends in automotive repair and maintenance
What our client expects of their Vehicle Preparation Technician:
  • Ideally NVQ Level 3 Qualified within Automotive Maintenance and repair or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a franchised dealership environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full valid UK driving licence
