Vehicle Technician required in South Ockendon, Essex.

Our client is a popular family run Independent Garage based in South Ockendon area of Essex which has built their business on their excellent reputation and quality of service over the years and pride themselves on their honesty and good customer service.

They have a team of vehicle Technicians with a wide range of experience who work in a well-equipped, clean and well-kept workshop and customer service area. They mainly work on prestige vehicles but will also see all makes and models through their doors requiring work, they are looking to expand the team by hiring an additional Vehicle Technician.

Details & Benefits of this Vehicle Technician role:
  • Competitive Basic Salary up to £45,000 basic p.a.
  • The salary offered will be reflective of your qualifications, skill set and experience.
  • Weekdays Hours Monday to Friday 8.00am-6.00pm.
  • Alternate Saturdays Worked 8.00am-1.00pm.
  • Benefits: Company Pension / Holiday Allowance: 20 days + bank holidays.
  • Contract: Full Time, Permanent 
Key Required Tasks are:   
  • General repair and servicing.
  • Diagnostics.
  • Timing chains & cambelts.
  • Clutch changes.
As well as experience in doing all usual tasks of a Vehicle Technician, the successful Vehicle Technician will ideally have good level of Diagnostics i.e. how to diagnose cars, understanding diagnostic principles and understand and interpreting wiring diagrams, come from an Independent Garage background, have an excellent work ethic wanting to work hard as well as smart and assist others where possible. A Full Driving Licence and your own Set of Tools are essential to have.
