Vehicle Trailer/Towbar Sales and Service Advisor in Cardiff. 
  • Starting salary up to £23,500 per annum.
  • Access to a sales bonus (paid quarterly) subject to hitting Branch targets.
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
  • Opportunity to work with one of the leading manufacturers, retailers and resellers of trailer and towing products in the UK. 
Our client, a nationwide vehicle trailer/towbar specialist are currently looking to recruit a Sales and Service Advisor for their branch in Cardiff. 

Reporting to the Branch Manager and working as part of a friendly team, your responsibilities shall include:
  • Actively sell (face to face and over the telephone) and promote our client's trailers/parts/associated equipment in a trade counter environment.
  • Serve customers politely and efficiently either at the counter, off site or on the telephone.
  • Provide professional and timely advice on trailers/services and towing accessories.
  • Advise and take orders for trailer hire and towbar fitting updating the diary accordingly. Liaise with the workshop team as required.
  • Ensure all stock orders received are shelved at the earliest opportunity and are presented safely, tidily and in an attractive manner. Displays should be updated and maintained regularly to maximise customer interest.
  • If applicable, assisting in the workshop building small trailers and servicing the hire fleet of trailers/towbars.
In order to be eligible you shall need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of Cardiff and ideally have a UK driving licence with minimal points. Experience working in a customer service orientated role within the automotive industry would be highly advantageous however our client is willing to consider candidates with no experience in the motor trade but a strong track record in a similar customer service orientated role. Overall you will have strong customer service skills, be a team player, and have a methodical and organised approach to your workload with a focus on driving additional revenue through our client's business where possible. Mechanical experience or experience of fitting trailers/towbars would also be advantageous however is non-essential. 

For your hard work as a Vehicle Trailer/Towbar Sales and Service Advisor our client is offering:
  • Starting salary up to £23,500 per annum.
  • Access to a sales bonus (paid quarterly) subject to hitting Branch targets.
  • Overtime subject to availability paid at standard rate.
  • 32 days annual leave allowance (including bank holidays).
  • Workplace pension scheme. 
  • Opportunity to work with one of the leading manufacturers, retailers and resellers of trailer and towing products in the UK. 
  • Working hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. No weekend work required!
