  • Basic Salary Circa £36,000

  • Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 - 1 hour’s lunch (unpaid) – Early finish on Friday!  
Our client is a well-known independent garage operating within the Worthing area for over 30 years, they are well respected across Worthing & West Sussex, specialising with the repair of Audi, BMW Mercedes & VW, alongside other popular brands of vehicles.

Our client has a strong reputation within the market and great reputation within the Worthing, Shoreham, Lancing, Littlehampton, and the West Sussex area. They have a successful service operation and due to an acceleration of business require a Vehicle Technician.

They are currently seeking experience Vehicle Technicians and time served mechanics who are capable with repairing Cambelts, Clutches, Diagnostics alongside some day-to-day Service & Repair work. Our client has a fantastic workshop with Bosch, Autologic, Autel & Dealer level diagnostic tools.

We’ve recently started working with this business; however, they are part of a network of independent garages that provides a specific training scheme to accelerate your progression as a Service advisor, investing highly within their staff and business.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client
  • Carrying out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults efficiently and accurately
  • Conducting vehicle inspections and test drives to assess performance
  • Carrying out complex vehicle repairs as required
  • Using Autologic, Autel, Bosch, & Dealer level diagnostic equipment and tools effectively
  • Completing service records and documentation accurately
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines and company procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image
What our client expects of their Vehicle Technicians
  • Minimum qualification of City and Guilds AVCE, NVQ level 3 or experience in similar role
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • You Must have your own toolkit sufficient to enough to carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of modern vehicle systems and technologies
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK driving license
