  • Hours: 7.00 - 4.00pm Monday - Friday - 40 hour

Our client a Insurance approved Accident Repair Centre are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their dynamic team in South London. Our client is seeking an Experienced VDA / Crash Repair estimator who has at least 3 years experience working as a VDA / Estimator from a Insurance led crash repair centre or independent accident repair centers to join and support the work of their Crash Repair Management team. This is a crucial role to the success of the business, as such, the rewards and benefits they offer set them apart from other Accident Repair Centres in our local area.

Key Responsibilities of an Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor with our client:
  • Damage Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of vehicle damage, both internal and external, to determine the extent of repairs required.
  • Estimation: Provide accurate and detailed repair estimates using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with repair technicians, insurers, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective communication and understanding of repair requirements.
  • Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to explain the assessment results, address queries, and provide clear explanations of the repair process.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of assessments, estimates, and communication with customers and stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor repair progress to ensure that work is completed to high standards, meeting industry regulations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements of the successful VDA with our client:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Vehicle Estimator or Vehicle Damage Assessor in the automotive industry.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in automotive repair, estimation, or a related field.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle construction, repair techniques, and familiarity with industry-standard estimation tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical details to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Organisational Skills: Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
