Vehicle Technician needed for Main Dealer in Byfleet.
  • Basic salary from £36,500 depending on experience + bonus + £2,000 sign on bonus.
  • 42.5 hour week + Saturdays on a rota 
Our client a Franchised Car Dealer based in Byfleet are currently seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their team in Byfleet, Surrey who is happy to be trained to IMI Level 3 in Electric Vehicle Maintenance and repair. 

As a Vehicle Technician the Ideal candidate will:
  • Deliver high standards of technical advice, service and maintenance to all customers vehicles.
  • Have experience in a similar role either within the commercial vehicle or retail car sectors.
  • Franchised main dealer experience is preferred but all backgrounds will be considered.
  • Hold a NVQ, City & Guilds (or equivalent) Level 3 qualification.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Inspection and repair of vehicles to vehicle manufacturer standards including MOT preparation and presentation to test.
  • Fault diagnosis including the use of specialist market leading diagnostic equipment.
  • General mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Offsite working, including breakdown attendance.
  • A focus on customer service and a dedication to keeping our clients customer’s vehicles on the road and minimising downtime where possible.
The client is offering this competitive package based on a 42.5 hour working week however the client is happy to discuss flexible working options.

The Successful candidate will be rewarded with:
