Vehicle Technician required in Neath. 
  • Basic salary between £32,000 - £38’000 per annum however this is dependent on experience & current earnings.
  • Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:30pm with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings 8:00am-2:00pm with all additionally overtime paid at time and a half as & when it is required/available.  
  • Opportunity to join South Wales' leading used car supermarket and working within their state of the art workshop facilities. 
Due to business expansion our client, South Wales' leading used car supermarket which situated in the Neath region, are currently looking to recruit Vehicle Technicians for their business.
 
Reporting to the Workshop Manager and working as part of a friendly workshop team, as a Vehicle Technician your main duties will include carrying out vehicle service, brakes and exhausts changes and other various repairs on customer's vehicles as instructed to the standards laid down by our client.

You will need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Workshop Manager as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance. As a Vehicle Technician, you will need to ensure that Health & Safety, as well as work quality procedures relating to the task at hand, are adhered to at all times.

An IMI/NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is a requirement for this role. Any further automotive training is beneficial and may result in a higher pay packet! You will need to hold a UK driving license with minimal points, be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. Applicants with a valid class 4 and 7 MOT testing license would be highly advantageous however this is non-essential.
