Parts Manager Required in Guildford, Surrey 

Our Client, a Family Run Car Dealer Group, is in search of a dynamic and organised Parts Manager to oversee operations at  their Dual Franchise Dealership in Guildford. This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, with rotating Saturday mornings.

Our client offers a competitive basic salary of up to £40,000, with the potential to earn up to £45,000 through bonuses, along with additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities as a Parts Manager with our client:
  • Direct oversight of daily department activities, including trade parts sales, internal retail customer sales, and workshop supply.
  • Planning and prioritising daily tasks, establishing sales targets, and contributing to marketing strategies.
  • Managing management accounts and KPIs to ensure departmental objectives are achieved.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to develop impactful sales campaigns.
  • Upholding high standards of customer service and fostering effective communication among staff and customers.
  • Effective management of stock levels to maintain a comprehensive parts inventory.
  • Providing guidance and support to staff through regular appraisals and career development initiatives.
  • Conducting daily PPI checks and bi-annual stock audits.
Essential Skills:
  • Demonstrated positive attitude with a focus on exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Financial proficiency, including experience with accounts and KPI monitoring.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to understand and manage stock parameters to prevent obsolescence.
  • Capacity to multitask and thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with automotive management systems like Kerridge / Keyloop DMS highly desirable but not essential.
This is a full-time position with a salary of up to £40,000 per year.
