Light Commercial Vehicle Technician required in Chelmsford, Essex.

Our client is currently looking for a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician to join their team in Chelmsford, Essex. You will be welcomed into a friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting product.
 
The Light Commercial Vehicle Technician duties involve:
  • Investigate and diagnose faults, reporting findings to the Workshop Controller/Foreman.
  • Liaise with Service Advisors regarding work carried out, to be communicated to the customer. Speak to customers if required.
  • Carry out all servicing and repairs to a high standard with an effective use of time and in line with Customer Handling Standards.
  • Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
Details and Benefits of this Light Commercial Vehicle Technician role include:
  • Basic salary is up to £30,000 p.a. dependent on experience and qualifications held.
  • Good Bonus Opportunity on average between £600 to £1000 per month (uncapped) – they have more than enough work so the earning potential is definitely there!
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.
  • Saturday rota is 1 in 3 – 8.30am to 1.00pm.
  • Saturdays are worked on a rota basis.

  • Contract: Full Time, Permanent (PAYE).

The successful Light Commercial Vehicle Technician will have an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanics, solid experience as a Vehicle Technician, a full driving licence along with your own set of tools and ideally come from a Franchise / Main Dealer background.
