HGV Technician (Nights) needed in Pontefract:
  • Basic Salary c. £41,600.
  • OTE of c. £44,000.
  • Sunday - Thursday (10pm - 6:30am).
  • Work with a great client of ours in a varied vole.
  • Our client is seeking both experienced HGV Technicians and applicants with experience as a Van Technician.
  • Brand accreditation provided.

Our client, a respected commercial vehicle business, is seeking a HGV Technician (nights) to join their team in Pontefract.

Our client is encouraging applicants with HGV experience and those with Van experience to apply.

What will the successful HGV Technician do?
  • Inspect and repair vehicles to DVSA standards including MOT preparation and presentation to test.
  • Fault diagnosis including the use of specialist diagnostic equipment.
  • General mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Display excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
The successful HGV Technician will have:
  • A Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ).
  • HGV Class 1 license preferred.
  • The ability to work to a high standard.
  • Significant workshop experience.
  • The ability to work well in a team.
  • A can do attitude.
  • An awareness of the importance of Health and Safety compliance.
  • Full UK Drivers License.
  • Own set of tools.
The successful HGV Technician will get
  • Basic Salary of c. £41,600.
  • OTE earnings of c. £44,000.
  • Optional overtime.
  • Brand accreditation.
