Job Description: As an Automotive Improver Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in the workshop team, assisting in the maintenance and repair of vehicles to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety and performance. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities of an Improver Vehicle Technician with our client:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake adjustments.
  • Work and learn while you go shadowing a Senior Vehicle Technician as well as complete as much training courses as your employer offers you
  • Assist senior technicians with complex repairs and troubleshooting tasks - learning on the job.
  • Complete service and repair tasks efficiently and accurately, following manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to provide updates on repair progress and recommendations for vehicle maintenance.
Requirements:

  • Previous experience in automotive maintenance and repair preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
