  • £35,000 Basic + Bonus (negotiable for the right person)
  • £45,000+ after bonus

My client is a successful main dealership located in Hinckley. They are now looking to take on a new Master Technician to join their workshop. You will be a key figure in the workshop, holding the title of Master Technician.

This Master Vehicle Technician role does not involve apprentices, you will be given training to EV and Hybrid level 4, and will be involved in the diagnostics of cars and vans on the site. 

The current master technician has been with the company for a long while, so they are now looking to take an additional one on. You will be a part of an long standing workshop which has been heavily invested into. They have all the modern gear to make your life easier, meaning you and your team can earn bonus easily, getting cars out faster than most dealerships. 

They are a close-knit main dealer housing a fantastic franchise. As such, they have a large focus on staff wellbeing and treat their staff like family. They are offering an excellent basic salary as well as a bonus structure which is currently being expanded upon. 

Master Technician Responsibilities: 
  • General maintenance, repairs, servicing.
  • Diagnostics.
  • Management support. 
  • Perform any necessary repairs or services, preventative and reactive repairs as per the customers request. 
  • Work efficiently, with a keen eye for detail updating check list in line with dealership standards.
  • Ensuring manufacturer standards are upheld. 
  • Liaise with the Service Department regarding expected completion times.
  • Being a team player and offering assistant in busy times 
Ideal Master Technician candidates:
  • Ideally hold Master Technician qualification or experience as a Master Technician with any franchise. 
  • Proven experience working within a workshop. 
  • Proven diagnostic ability
  • Willing to undergo Hybrid / EV Level 4 training.
