Are you currently working in a Workshop Controller role and looking for a change? Are you a Technician looking for progression and the opportunity to come off the tools? Are you in the Glasgow area or within commutable distance of the city?

I am working with a client who has a large franchise dealership is looking for someone who has great leadership skills, can be responsible for the daily running of the workshop and can make sure a fantastic customer service is always provided.

What is on needed for a Workshop Controller:
  • Previous experience working in a motor trade environment.
  • Ideally have a background as a Vehicle Technician
  • Able to lead a workshop of Technicians of varying levels.
  • Can allocate jobs according to skillset.
  • Able to multitask jobs and work loads.
  • Can motivate the workshop to complete jobs on target times.
  • Able to help develop and train junior apprentice staff.
  • Can liaise with other departments to ensure that customer service is paramount.
  • Able to provide appraisals for workshop
  • Can provide reports for senior management when needed.
