  • Salary: £40,000 Basic + £65,000 OTE
  • Hours: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays on a rota basis
Are you an experienced Service Manager with a passion for the automotive industry? Do you have exceptional leadership skills and a drive for excellence? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client's Automotive Car Dealership as a Service Manager.

As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our workshop and service team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of workmanship. You will play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of the service department, driving efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities Your Role as a service Manager will Include:
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of skilled technicians and service advisors.
  • Monitor workshop performance and implement strategies to optimise productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing expert advice and resolving any service-related issues.
  • Manage service bookings, workflow, and parts inventory to ensure timely completion of jobs.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and maximising revenue.
Requirements Of The Service Manager:
  • Proven experience as a Service Manager in the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Sound technical knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Full UK driving license.
