Mobile HGV Technician – Liverpool
  • Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm (some weekend call out cover on a rota basis).

Our client, a leading name in the automotive sector, is looking for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician to join their small but dedicated team in Liverpool. If you’re passionate about delivering high-quality maintenance and repairs on a wide range of commercial vehicles, this is the opportunity for you.

Key responsibilities of a Mobile HGV Technician:
  • Service, maintain, and repair a variety of commercial vehicles, including trucks, buses, and coaches.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
  • Provide frontline support to customers within your designated area.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for warranty, contract, and retail work.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance to minimise customer costs.
  • Work as part of a small team to deliver outstanding service.
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular hours and assist with weekend call-out cover when required.
Requirements for a Mobile HGV Technician:
  • Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle/PSV maintenance (City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of commercial vehicles.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a dealership environment is highly desirable.
  • A full, valid UK driving licence is required (HGV licence is advantageous).
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
