Vehicle Technician - Working for one of the UKs largest franchise Main Dealers - Based in Stockport  
  • OTE - up to £40,000.00
  • Performance related bonus

Our client is a well renowned car dealership with sites located across the UK. They are currently looking to add an experienced Vehicle Technician to their ever-growing team. The Ideal candidate will have 2 years+ previous experience of the vehicle technician role, a Level 2 OR 3 qualification and MOT qualifications would be desirable. A full UK license with less than 6 points is needed. 

Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Performing diagnostic tests and identifying faults in vehicles
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including servicing, brakes, suspension, and engine work
  • Completing work to a high standard and in a timely manner
  • Using diagnostic equipment and computer systems to diagnose vehicle problems
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Providing exceptional customer service and building strong customer relationship
Requirements for the successful Vehicle Technician:
  • Level 2 or 3 Diploma / City & Guilds in vehicle mechanics or proven equivalent experience
  • Previous experience of a similar position
  • Full UK Clean Driving License (preferably clean)
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
  • Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
  • The ability to work as part of a strong and well-established team
  • MOT qualifications are desirable 
Benefits the successful Vehicle Technician will receive: 
  • A basic salary up to £34,000.00 
  • OTE- Up to £40,000.00 
  • 33 Days annual leave including Bank Holidays. 
  • Training and progression opportunities available.
