Our client is an Automotive Fleet Maintenance Company that has been operating nationwide since 2008, they are currently looking to recruit a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their National Mobile Team to help cover the Colchester and surrounding region.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will involve carrying out maintenance to customer vehicles including specialist DPF work and Jaguar/Land Rover-focused tasks, whilst also conducting routine inspections, repairs and servicing at their location. You will be expected to cover locations in and around the Essex area ranging from Colchester to Romford.
Duties Will Include:
- Perform roadside assistance, fleet maintenance, and specialist DPF work.
- Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance of vehicles.
- Diagnose and efficiently repair mechanical issues.
- Use hand and power tools for various repairs and installations.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior Technicians as necessary.
What They Are Looking For:
- Ideally Level 2 or higher qualifications held and a proven track record as a Vehicle Technician.
- Any experience working in a similar Mobile/Roadside Technician role or any experience working on diesel particulate filters or with Jaguar/Land Rovers would be highly advantageous.
- You will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, have your tools, and be a committed individual and a good team player.
- You must be able to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced and demanding workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.
