Vehicle Parts Advisor required in Tewkesbury!
  • £24-25,000 basic salary plus performance-related bonus with a £26-27,000 annual on-target-earnings!
  • 42.5-hour week Monday-Friday and 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm (paid as overtime).

  Our client a premium franchise approved car dealership in the Tewkesbury region requires an experienced and professional Vehicle Parts Advisor to join their Parts Department!  

Reporting to the Parts Manager and working alongside one other Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for:  
  • Ensuring all customers are dealt with promptly and courteously.
  • Ensuring that procedures for handling cheques and cash are adhered to and that all invoicing is carried out accurately.
  • Ensuring all parts are correctly checked against delivery notes, that they are binned accordingly and that all orders are checked before a delivery note is signed. 
  • Ensuring that special orders are processed promptly and that the special order file is maintained.
  • Ensuring that the Service Department requirements are dealt with accurately and information is passed on as comprehensively as possible.
  • Assisting in stock checks and van deliveries where required.
  • Packing and loading parts correctly.
To be eligible, you will ideally live in the Tewkesbury region or live within an easily commutable distance of Tewkesbury. You will ideally hold recent or current vehicle parts experience, ideally working within a franchise-approved automotive dealership, however, our client is willing to consider candidates with no prior automotive parts experience, provided they come from a strong and steady customer service/stores background with a general interest in the motor trade. You will also need to be IT literate, given you will work daily with an electronic parts catalogue system, hold a UK driving license with minimal points, and have strong customer service/sales skills with a friendly and charismatic telephone manner.
