Job Advertisement: Sales & Service Advisor / Workshop Assistant
Salary: £27,500 per annum OTE up to £34,000
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (37.5 hours/week)
Holidays: 32 days per year (including bank holidays)

We are currently looking for a Sales & Service Advisor / Workshop Assistant to join our small, friendly, and independent team in Ipswich. This is a dual-role position combining front counter sales and hands-on workshop support — ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting customers at the counter with enquiries, sales, and product advice

  • Supporting the workshop with trailer servicing, repairs, and new trailer builds

  • Maintaining high levels of customer service and satisfaction

  • Working as part of a small, close-knit team to meet targets

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a retail sales environment (ideally automotive, tools, or trade counter)

  • Practical skills and experience using hand tools

  • A hands-on, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn

  • Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)

  • Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic
