Mobile Auto Electrician/ MET Technician required to cover Yorkshire and Northeast Regions 
  • Basic salary up to c. £45,760
  • OTE of c. £55,000
  • Paid door to door - no unpaid commute time!
  • 40 - 45 hours per week.

  • Technicians with some electrical experience are also encouraged to apply, as full training will be given.

Our client, an independent heavy and commercial vehicle repair specialist, is seeking applications from Auto Electricians and MET Technicians to join their team in a busy and exciting mobile role. There is so much potential to grow with a family run independent business - ever fancy being part of management and the inner workings of a company, for example? This vacancy is your opportunity!

Their head office is located in the Cramlington Area, but you will be solely based out on the road covering the Northeast, Northumberland and Yorkshire client contracts and will always be paid door to door - no unpaid commute time!

What will the successful Mobile Auto Electrician do?
  • Dismantle and reassemble accident-damaged vehicles.
  • Repair and replace the panels of accident-damaged vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications.
  • Work to a high standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair.
  • Work under their own initiative as necessary.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
  • Display excellent customer service.
The successful Mobile Auto Electrician will have:
  • Level 2 qualification or equivalent (NVQ/City & Guilds).
  • A “can do” attitude and the ability to overcome problems independently.
  • Significant experience installing electrical items to larger vehicles but car and light vehicle experience will also be considered.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Technicians who are used to working on cars, vans, heavy vehicles, or any combination are also all encouraged to apply as full training will be given for the role, with a salary to suit your skill level.
  • Your own set of tools.
The successful MET Technician will get:
  • Basic salary up to c. £45,760
  • OTE of c. £55,000.
  • Paid door to door - no unpaid commute time!
  • 40 - 45 hours per week.
  • Overtime available.
  • Phone, fuel car and fully equipped van provided.
  • Our client is seeking applications from experienced Auto Electricians who are looking to upskill and grow with a successful independent business.
