Service Technician
  • Basic Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
  • Monday - Friday: 08:30 - 17:00
  • No Weekends
  • Personal bonus scheme available

We are recruiting for an experienced service technician to work for a popular main dealership in the Derby area. This is a perfect role for someone who is looking to further progress their career in the technician industry with manufacture training offered at a forever busy and successful dealership,

There is clear career progression in this role with the company offering the opportunity for their technicians to gain Hybrid , EV and MOT qualifications.

Key responsibilities:
  • Carrying out service and repairs whilst following company procedures
  • Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and technical data 
  • Complete vehicle health checks and repair authorisations
  • Work independently and as part of a team to hit company targets efficiently
Reqiurements:
  • Level 3 qualified technician ((NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Experience within a dealership or independent workshop
  • Confident in diagnostics, fault finding, and routine maintenance
  • EV/hybrid experience is advantageous but not essential
  • MOT Testing accreditation preferred but not essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence required
Ideal Candidate:
  • Understanding of modern diagnostic equipment
  • Understanding of modern vehicle systems
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines to ensure productivity
  •  Strong team player
  • Willing to undertake further training provided
