Workshop Controller / Senior Service Technician 
  • Basic Salary: Circa £50,000 depending on experience
  • Overtime Available
  • Monday- Friday: 08:30 - 17:30
  • No Weekends
Our client has an amazing opportunity for an experienced Workshop Controller with a knowledgeable background in a vehicle technician role to join an ever-growing independent dealership in their workshop.

This is a brilliant opportunity for the individual to lead a small group of staff in a fast-paced busy environment whilst still being involved in a hands on role of day-to-day services and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of 4-5 and ensure the workshop operates smoothly and efficiently
  • Carry out vehicle repairs, servicing and MOT's (if qualified)
  • Diagnose mechanicals and electrical faults
  • Perform air conditioning services and road testing
  • Complete work to manufacturer and safety standards
  • Accurately document work and follow workshop procedure
Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Senior Mechanic
  • Confident in managing and motivating a small workshop team
  • MOT testing licence (desired)
  • EV/Hybrid qualifications (preferred)
  • Full UK driving license
  • Own set of tools
