- Salary: £35,000 – £41,000 basic (depending on skills and experience)
- Hours: 40 hours per week (Saturdays on a rota and paid as overtime)
- Bonus: Additional performance-based bonus available
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose complex faults and carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles.
- Work closely with service advisors, customers, and management to ensure accurate communication and efficient repair processes.
- Deliver a first-time fix wherever possible with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Support and mentor junior team members, helping to maintain a positive team environment.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a main dealer or busy independent garage.
- An MOT Testing licence is desirable but not essential.
- Must have your own tools and a full UK driving licence.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
