Senior Vehicle Technician Needed in Redditch
  • Salary: £35,000 – £41,000 basic (depending on skills and experience)
  • Hours: 40 hours per week (Saturdays on a rota and paid as overtime)
  • Bonus: Additional performance-based bonus available
A leading automotive retailer is seeking a Senior Vehicle Technician to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician to take the next step in their career, with access to excellent training, development, and career progression.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose complex faults and carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles.
  • Work closely with service advisors, customers, and management to ensure accurate communication and efficient repair processes.
  • Deliver a first-time fix wherever possible with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, helping to maintain a positive team environment.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
About You:
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a main dealer or busy independent garage.
  • An MOT Testing licence is desirable but not essential.
  • Must have your own tools and a full UK driving licence.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Committed to delivering a high standard of work and excellent customer service.
