MET Technician Needed in Heywood
  • Location: Heywood
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts + optional overtime
  • Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year + bonus scheme
  • Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (Full-Time)
Our client, a busy and reputable Independent Accident Repair Centre, is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join their professional and friendly team in Heywood.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-quality workshop environment with strong support, optional training, and a company that truly values craftsmanship and customer safety.

Key Responsibilities of the MET Technician:
  • Identify and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle damage
  • Remove and refit mechanical components in line with industry and manufacturer standards
  • Use diagnostic tools to assess vehicle faults and carry out accurate repairs
  • Perform wheel alignments and ensure vehicle safety post-repair
  • Follow workshop procedures and maintain a clean, safe working environment
  • Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a skilled team
  • Ensure repairs meet internal quality checks and customer satisfaction standards

What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience as a MET Technician in the accident repair industry
  • Strong understanding of the mechanical and electrical systems of modern vehicles
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment and conducting wheel alignments
  • Good attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable, though not essential
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
