Vehicle Technician Needed in Lancashire
  • Location: Colne
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm, plus 1 Saturday of each month
  • Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 Basic + Bonus
  • Excellent New Car Scheme
  • 22 days holiday - Increasing to 25 with length of service 
  • Plus birthday off, after 3 years service
Our client, a reputable, family owned Main Dealership in Colne, is looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their skilled workshop team. Ideally, they are seeking someone with experience working within a VAG or other German franchise. This is a great opportunity to be part of a busy and well-equipped dealership that prides itself on staff development and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities for the Vehicle Technician:
  • Service, maintain, and repair vehicles to a high standard
  • Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults
  • Carry out MOT testing (if qualified)
  • Perform vehicle health checks and maintain accurate service records
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe workshop
  • Liaise effectively with service advisors and other team members
What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a main dealer or VAG specialist environment preferred
  • MOT Tester qualification desirable
  • Strong diagnostic skills with attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence
