Mobile Vehicle Technician – Level 3 Qualified
  • Newcastle will be your Home Patch - Every few weeks you will be based in Scotland
  • Up to £36,000 basic
  • £40,000 – £50,000 OTE
  • Monday to Friday
A fantastic opportunity has opened for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join a growing and forward-thinking team that operates nationally. This role offers a unique mix of freedom, responsibility, and technical variety – perfect for a skilled vehicle technician who thrives on independence and enjoys working outside the typical workshop environment.

What’s on Offer for the Mobile Vehicle Technician:
  • Basic salary up to £36,000 (depending on experience)
  • Realistic OTE of £40,000 to £50,000

Key Responsibilities for the Mobile Vehicle Technician:
  • Carry out mobile vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
  • Perform diagnostics and fault-finding on a range of vehicles
  • Complete detailed and accurate service records
  • Deliver outstanding customer service at roadside, home or fleet locations
  • Make safe decisions on whether repairs can be completed on site or if recovery is required
  • Mentor and support less experienced technicians when required
  • Comply with health and safety standards and company procedures

Ideal Mobile Vehicle Technician Candidate Will Have:
  • Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (essential)
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
  • Experience working independently in a mobile or field-based role (preferred)
  • Confidence dealing with a wide range of vehicles and systems
  • A positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • A full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Experience with DPF systems or specific brand knowledge (e.g., JLR) is a bonus, but not essential
