DAF Master HGV Technician required for Modern Workshop in Glasgow
  • Basic Salary up to £44,850 per year
  • Company Van + Fuel Card
  • Monday to Friday

I’m currently working with a well-established and expanding fleet operator who is seeking a qualified and experienced DAF Master Technician to join their in-house maintenance team.

This full-time, permanent role offers excellent earning potential and the opportunity to take a technical lead within a modern, well-equipped depot based in Glasgow.

Your Day-to-Day as a DAF Master Technician:
  • Lead diagnostics, repairs, and complex fault resolution on a fleet of DAF trucks
  • Carry out routine maintenance and high-level mechanical work to manufacturer standards
  • Support vehicle compliance through safety inspections and preventative servicing
  • Work alongside MOT partners to ensure readiness and compliance
  • Document all repair work and parts usage in line with internal systems
  • Assist in guiding junior team members and supporting technical upskilling
What We're Looking For – DAF Master Technician Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an HGV Technician, ideally working with DAF vehicles
  • Completion of Level 4 specialist training through the DAF Academy (or willingness to undertake it if not yet completed)
  • Successful completion of the DAF accredited assessment process to achieve or work toward DAF Master Technician status
  • Strong knowledge of DAF diagnostic systems, fault-finding procedures, and advanced repair techniques
  • Recognised qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
  • Ability to work independently, manage complex diagnostic tasks, and maintain high standards of accuracy and safety
  • Familiarity with DAF and Isuzu vehicles is highly desirable
  • A full UK driving licence is essential
