Centre Manager - Blackburn
  • Salary: up to £50,000 basic (up to £65,000 OTE)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00 or 9:00–18:00 + 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00–13:00
We are working with a well-established trade parts operation within the automotive sector, seeking an experienced and driven Centre Manager to lead a busy site of 30 staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced B2B environment and is passionate about team development, operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities for the Centre Manager:
  • Lead and inspire a team of approx. 30 to achieve business goals and performance targets.
  • Translate centre-wide sales targets into departmental objectives, with realistic but ambitious KPIs.
  • Build and maintain a customer-centric culture focused on satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Create and manage Personal Development Plans for team members and provide ongoing coaching.
  • Devise and implement manpower and succession plans for long-term operational strength.
  • Monitor and analyse performance data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work within the defined sales strategy to maximise revenue and grow market share.
  • Ensure compliance with financial, legal, ethical and warranty-related standards.
  • Oversee stock control, security and day-to-day operations of the site.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholders.
Requirements for the Centre Manager:
  • Proven experience in a management role, ideally within the automotive or trade parts sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance.
  • Commercially minded with a strong focus on results and customer service.
  • Strategic thinker with experience in planning and executing business development strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident with data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Comfortable working to clearly defined processes and compliance frameworks.
