Automotive Service Advisor Required in the Croydon area

Hours: 8am - 6.00pm Monday - Friday only 
Pay: £30K Basic with £38K OTE 

We are currently working with a well-established Motor Trade Dealership Group who have been operating the London, Kent and Surrey region for over successful 70 years and counting. Our client prides itself on the countless Automotive recognised employee industry award it has won over the past 10 years and represents 8 different vehicle manufacturers. 

They are seeking a Customer Service Advisor who has at least 2 years customer facing experience from any industry; to join and support the work of their Service Team within a Car Dealership aftersales environment. This is a crucial role to the success of the business, as such, the rewards and benefits they offset set them apart from other Car Dealers in their local area.

Within this Service Advisor role your typical duties will include: 

  • Interpreting customer concerns and comments and liaising with Car Technicians
  • Liaison with customers about any additional work required
  • Greeting customers and scheduling services
  • Estimating time and costs associated with repairs
  • Handling customer complaints
  • Responding to customer requests
  • Warrant administration and reporting
  • Delivering world class customer service to our clients customers
  • Tracking the vehicle through the workshop and updating the customers at all times.

The Successful Service Advisor will be greeting customers in to the Automotive Service Department, liaising with the Vehicle Technicians in the Workshop to chase work in progress, keeping customers informed, and gaining authorisation for any additional work to be carried out whilst keeping your customers informed throughout the complete repair process. 

This role has a fantastic bonus incentive attached to it, so if you are great on customer service and upsell, you can earn fantastic money!
