  • Location: Blackburn 
  • Salary: up to £34,000 basic (up to £41,000 OTE)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00 or 9:00–18:00 (rotating pattern) & 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:00-13:00
  • Field Time: Approximately 70% office-based, 30% account management in territory
We are recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead a dynamic Parts Sales team of 7 in a thriving trade parts operation. This role is ideal for a results-driven individual with a proven track record in sales leadership, customer service, and team development.

You’ll play a key role in driving sales performance, developing account relationships, and ensuring your team consistently delivers excellent service to a wide-ranging B2B customer base.

Key Responsibilities for the Sales Manager:
  • Lead, support and motivate a team of 7 Parts Sales Executives to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Translate overall sales goals into team and personal KPIs, monitor progress and take corrective action where needed.
  • Plan and execute targeted promotions and campaigns in collaboration with senior management.
  • Deliver clear performance visibility through daily achievement tracking and team incentives.
  • Ensure expert product and market knowledge is shared throughout the team.
  • Manage and develop key customer accounts in your designated territory (approx. 30% field-based).
  • Provide regular 1:1 coaching, performance reviews and development support for team members.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new sales team staff.
  • Report on sales activity and results during weekly management meetings.
  • Uphold and promote the company's values and customer-centric approach.
Requirements for the Sales Manager:
  • Previous management or team leadership experience in a sales or customer service environment.
  • Strong track record of achieving KPIs and driving commercial performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport both internally and externally.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Comfortable using sales reporting tools and Microsoft Office packages.
  • A hands-on, motivational leader with a passion for the automotive industry.
