Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Required in Manchester
  • Location: Manchester
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm | Rotational Saturdays worked 8:30 - 12:30pm.
  • Salary: Basic up to £32,000 DOE | OTE up to £38,000 + £91/month MOT uplift
Our client, a leading Main Dealer Group, is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company offering strong career progression, continuous training, and a wide range of employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities for the MOT Technician:
  • Service, repair and maintain a variety of vehicles to a high standard
  • Complete MOTs in accordance with DVSA regulations
  • Carry out Vehicle health checks and create supporting videos
  • Ensure accurate diagnosis and quality of workmanship
  • Communicate effectively with Workshop Supervisors and Service Advisors
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Engage with ongoing training and development opportunities
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester?
  • NVQ Level 2 or above in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI / City & Guilds)
  • MOT Testing Licence (valid and up to date)
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills
  • Experience in a Main Dealer or Independent Garage environment
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • A proactive and professional attitude
