MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician

Location: Falkirk
Basic Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 DOE
OTE: Up to £47,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

A well-established, family-run dealership in the Falkirk area is currently looking for a skilled MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join their growing Workshop team. This is a multi-brand site offering excellent working conditions, ongoing training and long-term stability.

Key Requirements for the MOT Technician role:
  • MOT Licence essential (for MOT role)
  • Minimum Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance (Level 3 preferred)
  • Confident in diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and general maintenance
  • Full UK Driving Licence required
  • EV/Hybrid training provided
  • Multi-brand experience beneficial
  • Strong work ethic and team-focused mentality
Responsibilities as a MOT Technician:
  • Carry out diagnostics, repairs and servicing to a high standard
  • Complete MOT tests in line with DVSA standards (if licensed)
  • Accurately complete job cards and vehicle health checks
  • Work effectively as part of a small, close-knit workshop team
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and first-time fix rates
  • Ensure workshop compliance and follow health & safety procedures
What’s on Offer?
  • Basic salary £38,000 – £42,000 depending on experience
  • OTE up to £47,000 with bonus
  • Monday to Friday only – No weekends
