Aftersales Manager – Main Dealer in Milton Keynes

  • Salary: £50,000 Basic (DOE) + Bonus | OTE: £70,000
  • Location: Milton Keynes
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 18:00 
  • No Weekends
  • Ongoing training and Manufacturer development. 

A leading main dealer group is seeking an experienced Aftersales Manager to take the reins of a busy and successful dealership in the Milton Keynes area. This is a high-performing site backed by one of the UK’s largest dealer networks, offering excellent earning potential and career progression.

This role is ideal for someone currently in a senior aftersales leadership position within a franchised dealer environment, who thrives on delivering results, driving customer satisfaction, and leading high-performing teams across service and parts departments.
 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Service, Parts and Workshop teams to achieve departmental targets
  • Deliver outstanding levels of customer service and ensure CSI targets are consistently met
  • Maximise profitability through effective labour sales, upselling, and parts performance
  • Manage all departmental KPIs, budgets, and financial performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and audit requirements
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the aftersales operation, ensuring smooth workflow between service advisors, workshop controller, and technicians
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager and Dealer Principal to support business performance
  • Handle customer escalations, complaints, and goodwill cases professionally
  • Coach, mentor, and support your team’s development and training needs
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience as an Aftersales Manager or Senior Service Manager in a franchised main dealer
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • A solid understanding of departmental P&L, cost control, and revenue generation
  • Experience with warranty and manufacturer procedures, audit compliance, and Health & Safety
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering a premium service
  • Confident working with DMS platforms (e.g., Kerridge, Pinnacle, CDK) and manufacturer systems
  • Full UK Driving Licence
