Van / LCV Technician Needed in Oldham
  • Location: Oldham
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (40-hour week) + 1 in 3 Saturday rota
  • Salary: Basic up to £35,000 + Overtime (paid at 1.5x) + Bonus
  • OTE: £45,000
Our client, a well-established, family-run franchised dealer group – is seeking an experienced Van / LCV Technician to join their expanding team in Oldham. Key Responsibilities for the Van Technician:
  •  Service, maintain, and repair Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs)
  •  Carry out pre-delivery inspections to manufacturer standards
  •  Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
  •  Complete repairs efficiently, adhering to brand guidelines and safety standards
  •  Communicate with the Service Advisor team regarding any additional work required
  •  Perform road tests and quality checks post-repair
  •  Ensure accurate completion of job cards and service documentation
What We’re Looking For:
  •  Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
  •  A minimum of 3 years' experience working on LCVs or similar vehicles, ideally within a franchised dealership
  •  Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  •  Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude
  •  Full UK driving licence
