Vehicle Technician Needed in Liverpool!

  • Located in Liverpool 
  • 42.5 hours per week – Day shifts only, with overtime available (paid at time and a half)
  • £43,000 OTE (£37k basic plus bonus & overtime)  
Our client, a leading UK vehicle rental specialist, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Liverpool workshop. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a large, varied fleet in a modern facility, while benefiting from extensive training and excellent employee perks. The company is committed to upskilling its technicians, including IMI - accredited training in Hybrid & EV repair, braking systems, electrics, and more!

Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Service, maintain, and repair a mixed fleet of vans and cars
  • Ensure all vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and legally compliant
  • Carry out diagnostics and fault-finding
  • Complete work to the highest standard in line with health and safety procedures
  • Keep accurate service and repair records
  • Support colleagues and share technical expertise
  • Undertake training to enhance skills, including Hybrid/EV repair and specialist equipment
What We’re Looking For in the Vehicle Technician: 
  • Fully qualified Level 3 Vehicle Technician / Mechanic OR Level 2 with at least 3 years’ workshop experience
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
  • A proactive attitude towards training and development
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety
