MOT Tester needed in Redditch:
  • Basic Salary: Up to £32,000 basic salary
  • Bonus: Performance-based bonus available
  • Hours: 42.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (30-minute lunch)
We are looking for a qualified and experienced MOT Tester to join our well-established main dealer workshop in Redditch. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and ensuring vehicles meet DVSA standards.
You’ll be working as part of a friendly and professional aftersales team, carrying out MOT tests alongside general repair and maintenance work as required.

Key Responsibilities as a MOT Tester:
  • Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
  • Accurately record all work and findings on job cards and in company systems
  • Advise on and complete any necessary repairs in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain high workshop standards, ensuring a clean and safe working environment
  • Keep up to date with DVSA guidelines and MOT testing procedures
  • Support colleagues when required and contribute to the overall success of the service department
Requirements for a MOT Tester:
  • Valid MOT Testing licence (Class 4) is essential
  • Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Full UK driving licence
